These steps are used by companies to approach projects, to establish AI and to build up the appropriate personnel in the long term. The 7 steps are based on the CRISP-DM, a standard process that we at the Fraunhofer IPT have enriched with the specificities of production. Based on the experiences of the data scientists at the Fraunhofer IPT in projects with companies in production, 7 modules were developed from the 7 steps. The modules are equipped with methods and techniques that lead to the successful execution of a project.
